"Monetary profit as the ultimate goal of Karate Instruction?
For me, there's no genuine profit at all in that kind of profit!"
I agree with Sensei - such exclusionary thinking - that's just as it should be.

flowersDan Belts (1st Degree Black Belts)

When Blossoms Dojo is active, there are Dan level (Black Belt) and ranking students who are learning the art of Karate instruction and the technical tutoring skill for lower ranks, while simultaneously continuing their individual endeavors to master the arts of blocking, kicking, punching and thinking in defense of themselves and their loved ones. Of course, here in Silicon Valley, it is not unusual that these students hail from the U.S., China, India and Taiwan, and they are more than happy to assist students in any way they can. After all, as ranking students, the act of sharing their martial knowledge with fellow students is for them a “giri” (a privileged self-training and an obligation).
